Jerry Sullivan talks about the growth of the family band. Topics discussed include moving to Dayton, Ohio, to join Red Spurlock's band; his exposure to "real" bluegrass music and his attempts to bring that influence to his family; working with Paul Howard; learning how to play the blues; desire to communicate his religious message to audiences through his music; learning how to promote his band from Paul Howard; making his own act more professional; first album, "The Bluegrass Gospel"; and his songwriting. Tammy Sullivan also comments.
